    Favorite Christmas Shot

This is my favorite "foto" from Christmas at Crossroads. Every year for the last few years we have done Joy To The World is some rocked out fashion with all the techs and characters on stage. This is a panoramic shot taken by Joe Oliver. I just love the vibe of it. You can see more Christmas fotos here.Panorama2

    So So So

So I gave all the interns the week off since Christmas was so over the top in terms of production. I wanted to wait to talk about what we did until I could show some visuals. In the meantime I finished some pretty cool stuff this week. I read the book, The Divine Mentor by Wayne Cordiero. Rocks! A really good look at how to use the people in the bible as mentors in your life and what journaling and daily bible study can do for you. I've put it into practice ( the journaling part) and I'm seeming to become more aware of how God Talks to us through the Bible. Everything is Spiritual came out and I got it as a Christmas Present ( thanks Cindy and Marv!) I was able to see it live in Detroit and watching it again on DVD did not disappoint. I leave you with a piece of media we ran for an upcoming Kid Fusion. The guy in the video is named Eric and is one of the most interesting people I know.

    Merry Christmas

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.    Merry Christmas everyone! Christmas at Crossroads was killa. Now that I have time to blog again Ill roll out the details and media throughout the week.

    Whats up

So I Haven't blogged in forever.. mostly due to it being December and Christmas is coming. here are some highlights of what has  been up.

    • * Christmas is going to rock. I GAR_EN_TEE you are going to experience some stuff no one has ever done this Christmas at Crossroads do not miss it. It is truly going to be sweet. Lots of video cool music a gift exchange using the WHOLE congregation at once. Fruitcakes, The Maltese Falcon, bike horns, giant projections, Andy Kaufman, The Office, stop motion nativity's... and most importantly all pointing to Jesus.. don't miss it.
    • * My wife's work built and infinity wall and they are allowing us to shoot all of our media there now. Its so cool ( check out the pix)
    • * Our New XP Joe Emens is bloggin!
    • * We hired a new youth Pastor. He isn't blogging yet but he will.
    • * Project Share, an outreach we did for our county rocked.. we raised over 53,000 and gave away over 100,000 pounds of food to 865 families. at the bottom of this is a media we put together for it. It was way beyond cool.
    • Church was actually closed today. We got a butt load of snow... I think we have only closed once.. crazy...Jay_and_scttt_vid

    Book Review: Starving Jesus

Great book. Takes a look at actually taking action for the cause of Christ and the disciplines of praying, fasting and giving. The authors went on a 40 day fast while touring the country. Visiting different churches and encouraging them to go out into their communities and serve.Starving_jesus
